International Art Treasures Web Magazine

May 2004

Rembrandt and Warhol are about as diametrically opposite on the artists scale as one can get and both are featured in this edition of International Art Treasures.

Our goal is to celebrate art and artists. The genre such as Baroque and Abstract Art are both interesting and tell us much about the artists, the time frame in which they worked and our reactions to their works tells us much about ourselves.

Art is emotional. Rembrandt and Warhol expressed themselves by putting brush to canvas. Our reactions bring our experiences to bear  when their works are examined in the 21st Century.

Add the Impressionists into the mix and this edition has a very wide range in its exploration of art. The American Federation of Art have arranged an exhibition beginning with Millet when this style was in its infancy through the years to Matisse.

Art evolves over time as do genres and artists and that is one of the many aspects of individual creativity that International Art Treasures Web Magazine will continue to feature in the future.
