Among those who will attend are Honorary Chair Dante Marioni and the event co-chairs Wallis and Marshall Katz. One of the highlights, besides the auction,
will be the chance to learn about about the traditional Venetian glass technique called Murrine. It is a glass
mosaic cane made by fusing together layers of colored glass. One of the masters of the Murrine, Stephen Rolfe Powell, will be on hand to demonstrate
large scale glass blowing techniques.
